Little Star Rewards is a voluntary loyalty program offered by the Stockbridge-Munsee Community d.b.a. the Little Star Convenience Store. By participating in Little Star Rewards, you are accepting the following Terms and Conditions. Please review these Terms and Conditions prior to participation. If you do not intend to accept these Terms and Conditions, you must cease all participation in Little Star Rewards.

  1. Eligibility to Enroll.  Only persons 18 years of age or older are eligible to enroll and participate in Little Star Rewards.
  2. No Cost.  There is no cost to enroll or participate in Little Star Rewards.
  3. Little Star Rewards Account. 
    1. Participants will be issued a physical and/or a virtual card with a number that is linked to their individual Little Star Rewards account. We have no responsibility for lost or stolen cards.
    2. The Little Star Rewards account is used to track eligible purchases and rewards as part of the Little Star Rewards program.
    3. Participants may only collect or redeem rewards on one (1) account. Accounts are nontransferable and rewards may not be sold, combined, or otherwise shared with any other persons.
    4. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to refuse participation in Little Star Rewards or to cancel your account without notice.

  4. Ending Your Participation in Little Star Rewards. 
    1. Opting Out.  You may opt out of Little Star Rewards at any time. If you opt out, you will no longer earn points or be able to redeem points and you will forfeit your unused and unexpired points. To opt out of Little Star Rewards, please contact us at [email protected]
    2. Inactive Account.  Participants must maintain an active account in order to earn and redeem rewards. Inactive accounts will go dormant without additional notice after 160 days and any unused and unexpired points will be forfeited. Such accounts generally may be reactivated by participant by resetting password.
    3. Deletion of points is final and cannot be reversed when participation in Little Star Rewards ends.
  5. Earning Rewards
    1. Rewards may only be earned for purchases in-store or at the fuel dispenser when participants provide their account information at the time of purchase. Participants must enter their account number (such as by scanning or swiping their card) once the transaction has been initiated, but, before the transaction has been finalized. The transaction will not be recorded on your account if you do not swipe or scan your card prior to payment.
    2. Participants can either swipe or scan their card at the fuel dispenser or as part of an in-store purchase, but, cannot do both in the same transaction.
    3. Purchases of Qualifying Products. Participants earn ten (10) points for each dollar spent purchasing qualifying products at the Little Star Convenience Store.
    4. Fuel Purchases. Participants earn two (2) points on each gallon of fuel purchased from the Little Star Convenience Store.
    5. Non-qualifying Purchases. No rewards will be earned on purchases of tobacco, liquor, beer, gift certificates, or gift cards.
    6. No rewards will be earned on fraudulent transactions.
    7. No rewards will be earned for purchases made prior to establishing a Little Star Rewards account or when account information is not entered at the time of purchase.
  6. Redeeming Rewards.
    1. Rewards must be redeemed at the time of a purchase. All rewards redemptions are final and may not be cancelled.
    2. Points may be redeemed on purchases of deli, grocery, and non-alcoholic beverage items. This list is subject to change without prior notice.

  1. If rewards may be used for fuel discounts, such discounts may be combined with various other fuel discount promotions; however, the dispenser will never decrease the price per gallon to zero and will always display at least $0.01 per gallon.
  2. Rewards will be redeemed on a first-earned, first-redeemed basis.
  3. Rewards are issued for promotional purposes only. Rewards earned have no cash value. You have no property rights or other legal interests in rewards.
  4. Rewards may not be assigned, sold, transferred, and/or pledged to any third party.
  5. Any disputes concerning the use of rewards will not affect your obligation to pay for your purchases at the time of purchase.
  6. Lost, stolen, or damaged reward coupons will not be replaced.

  1. Rewards Expiration
    1. Points have no monetary value and will expire after 160 days.
    2. If your rewards are cancelled or forfeited for any reason, we will not reinstate those rewards to your account.
  2. Suspicious Activity
    1. We have the right to monitor all account activity. If, in our sole discretion, we believe you or someone using your account has engaged in any fraud, abuse, or other suspicious activity or has failed to comply with these Terms and Conditions or other program requirements, we reserve the right to close or freeze your account immediately without notice.
    2. We may also prohibit you from earning or redeeming rewards and/or cause you to forfeit any rewards not already redeemed. If your rewards are cancelled or forfeited for any reason, we will not reinstate those rewards to your account.
    3. We reserve the right to take any necessary legal action and may have grounds to confiscate any rewards redeemed as a result of suspicious activity. In addition, you may be liable to us for monetary losses, including costs, and damages and reasonable attorneys’ fees, and you will not be allowed to participate in Little Star Rewards in the future.

  3. Termination. Little Star Rewards has no predetermined termination date and will continue until such time as we decide to terminate the program. We reserve the right to terminate the program at any time in our sole discretion and without prior notice.
  4. Limitations on Liability and No Warranty.
    1. Little Star Rewards is a voluntary program and, by choosing to enroll, participants accept the risks inherent in participating in such a program. We assume no responsibility whatsoever for your use of Little Star Rewards.
    2. The Stockbridge-Munsee Community, Little Star Convenience Store, and its employees and agents make no guarantees, warranties or representations of any kind concerning the Little Star Reward program and assume no liability for any failures of such program including those in relation to the earning, redemption, or use of rewards.
    3. We are not responsible for any tax liability that you may have in connection with your use of rewards with the Little Star Rewards program.
    4. Little Star Rewards, including all content, software, functions, materials and information made available to you or accessed by you, is provided “as is.” We make no representation or warranties of any kind whatsoever regarding the program, either expressly or impliedly, and expressly disclaim any implied warranties, including but not limited to, warranties of title, non-infringement, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
  5. Protection of Personal Information. Little Star Rewards will use appropriate means to safeguard the information that you provide to us in accordance with our privacy policy and these terms and conditions. Please refer to our privacy policy for information on how we use and collect information on our website, mobile app, and other means. This can be found at www.littlestarcs.com.
  6. Modifications. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and without prior notice, to modify, suspend, or discontinue Little Star Rewards or to these Terms and Conditions, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason. We also reserve the right to impose limits on certain features and services or restrict your access to parts or all of Little Star Rewards without prior notice or liability. Your continued participation constitutes your acceptance of any changes to these Terms and Conditions and the Little Star Rewards program. You are responsible for remaining knowledgeable of any changes that we make. The most current version of these Terms and Conditions will be available on the website www.littlestarcs.com and will supersede all previous versions.
  7. Dispute Resolution. These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between us with respect to your participation in Little Star Rewards and, in the event of any conflict, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail. Any cause of action you may have with respect to your use of Little Star Rewards must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises. To the extent applicable, you accept jurisdiction of the Stockbridge-Munsee Tribal Courts for any disputes arising out of the operation of Little Star Rewards. The Stockbridge-Munsee Community and its Little Star Convenience Store shall not be liable, under any circumstances whatsoever, for any direct, indirect, special, consequential, or other damages arising out of the use of Little Star Rewards. This includes, without limitation, damages for lost profits, business interruption, damage to equipment, computer programs, or information systems, or the loss of any information or data. The maximum liability collectively shall not exceed the amount of any earned rewards for any damages of any nature, including gross negligence, arising in contract, tort or otherwise.
  8. Severability. If a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision, or portion thereof, to be unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible so as to affect the intent of the Terms and Conditions and the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.
